Job summary

ECS Engineering Services Ltd, part of the NG Bailey Group, seeks an experienced Project Engineer to deliver allocated engineering projects from scope to handover. You will work with the Project Manager to ensure safety, on-time delivery, cost control, and quality across mechanical and electrical installations.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience managing mechanical and electrical installation projects.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation including CDM Regulations.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day delivery of allocated projects.
• Coordination of internal engineering resources.
• Management of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitoring project budgets and programme.
• Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements.
• Supporting commercial performance through variation management and cost control.
• Maintaining effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Deliver engineering projects safely, on time, within budget and in accordance with contractual and quality requirements.
• Review project scope, drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Coordinate site activities, subcontractors, labour, plant and materials to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Prepare and review RAMS, undertake site inspections and audits, investigate incidents, and ensure quality inspections and project records are completed.

Job Purpose

Responsible for delivering allocated engineering projects from initial scope through commissioning and final handover.
