Project Engineer (Electrical) - Sandown / Isle of Wight

The Role

We are recruiting an Electrical Project Engineer to work within a multi-disciplinary team on the Southern Water Framework, based at our Sandown site. Reporting to a Project and Contract Manager, you will support all technical and commercial aspects of Electrical installations on site. Candidates should have a qualification in Electrical Engineering and a good understanding of electrical and civils professions.

Responsibilities

1. Participate in design review and progress meetings
2. Review specifications and detailed designs
3. Procure Electrical & Mechanical Equipment and support subcontract procurement
4. Ensure site installation works meet design specifications and industry standards
5. Record and review as-built information
6. Prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements

Qualifications/Competency

• Degree or HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering
• Water Engineering experience is a plus but not essential
• Knowledge of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality Procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software
• Advanced skills in Excel
