We are currently seeking an Electrical Project Engineer who will plan and undertake the project workload and allocate specific tasks to other appointed personnel associated with the project, in conjunction with directions from the Senior Project Manager.

Key Duties:

1. Monitor the workload and tasks assigned to team members both in the office and at site to ensure projects operate efficiently and profitably.
2. Prepare operational project programmes aligned with the main project programme and identify deadlines for labour and material procurement. Ensure these deadlines are met by carrying out the required tasks and monitoring progress regularly.
3. Develop major material and master procurement schedules. Check that proposed procurement dates align with the project programme to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment on site.
4. Negotiate for the best prices through new quotations to achieve cost savings based on the original tender offers.
5. Maintain good relationships with suppliers to ensure prompt responses to quotation requests and delivery requirements.
6. Review and interpret proposed designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with obligations, functionality, and standards.
7. Monitor project deliverables and direct work sequencing to expedite project completion in accordance with the work programme.
8. Represent the company at meetings with customers, consultants, subcontractors, and other relevant organizations as directed by the Senior Project Manager.
