Job summary

Hudson Shribman seeks an Electrical Panel Wiring Technician to join our workshop team in the South East. You will assemble and build electrical control panels, enclosures, and interconnecting cables for special-purpose equipment.

The role requires reading wiring drawings and schematics, plus crimping, soldering and high-standard workmanship. Some travel may be involved, with a strong emphasis on practical fabrication.

Qualifications

• Experience wiring panels/machines from drawings or schematics.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with crimping, soldering and terminating cables.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical systems and sub-assemblies from drawings and build procedures.
• Build electrical control panels and enclosures from scratch, including mechanical assembly.
• Drill, tap and fit internal panel components including relays, terminal blocks and power supplies.
• Carry out electrical crimping, soldering, wiring and loom to a high standard.
• Assemble cables, including crimping connectors, cable termination, looming and labelling.
• Work accurately from electrical drawings, schematics and engineering documentation.
