Qualifications

• Experience wiring electrical panels or similar electrical assemblies.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Proficient with hand tools, crimpers, cable preparation, and terminations.
• Methodical, neat wiring with attention to quality.

Responsibilities

• Build and wire industrial electrical control panels from drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Read schematics and termination information.
• Prepare, cut, strip, crimp, label and terminate cables and loom.
• Fit and connect cable glands, terminal blocks, connectors, sensors and motors.
• Route and secure wiring neatly within panels and across machinery.
• Check finished work against drawings and resolve wiring issues.
• Collaborate with mechanical/engineering colleagues during assembly and testing.
• Maintain a clean, organised workshop and follow safe practices.
