Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Panel Wirer in Cambridge for a workshop-based, days-based role. You will wire and assemble control panels, install PLCs and electrical components, and work with senior mentors to progress technically.

The role offers 32,000–35,000 GBP with optional overtime, flexible hours, and a Monday–Friday schedule. Join a well-established UK manufacturer, part of an international group, with training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience wiring control panels and installing electrical components.
• Background working on PLCs or similar control systems.
• Ability to read drawings and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Wiring panels, PLCs and cabinets.
• Fitting electrical systems on bespoke machinery.
• Days-based, 40-hour week with flexible hours.
