Job summary

Airedale by Modine in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Electrical Panel Wirer to assemble and wire control panels to a high standard, using schematics and a variety of wire sizes up to 120mm.

You will work in a team, support health and safety, and help improve production. This full-time, permanent role offers two shifts (Morning and Afternoon) with a £7k shift premium for the afternoon, and pay of £13.56–£15.04 per hour for 39 hours per week.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years proven experience in an electrical environment.
Must be able to read, understand and wire to electrical schematics.
To be able to set and use torque wrenches to tighten components.
To be able to wire large panels containing switch gear rated up to 400A.
To be able to build panels using a layout when production dictates.
To be able to use hydraulic crimps for lugs ranging from 10 - 120mm in size.
To be able to wire in a neat, systematic and time efficient manner.
A recognised electrical qualification would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

To wire control panels that are around 1m x 0.5m with between 50 and 400 electrical connections for a variety of Airedale product ranges to a high standard.
Working with wire sizes ranging from 0.5 - 120mm.
To be involved in team activities to improve production, quality and health and safety within the department.
