Job summary

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Control Panel Builder, Electrical Technician, or similar role.
Industrial electrical experience preferred (not residential).
Manual dexterity and fine motor skills are essential.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and blueprints.
Confident with panel wiring, cable routing and component layout.
Quality inspections and ability to spot defects to tolerances.
Able to work repetitively and accurately to schedules.
Good teamwork and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

Assemble small components (PLCs, relays, contactors, drives, terminal blocks) from schematics.
Use hand and power tools to meet production and quality targets.
Interpret wiring diagrams and layout drawings accurately.
Build control panels containing 5 to 100 cables as required.
Wiring and assembling systems within conveyor machinery.
Ensure compliance with safety and customer specifications.
Maintain workshop housekeeping and adhere to H&S regulations.
