Metalis Recruitment Group is seeking an Electrical Assembly Operative in Middleton, Manchester. You will assemble and test electrical panels, wire components, and install LEDs, following engineering drawings and specifications. The role emphasizes quality, accuracy, and working with an experienced production team.

The position is permanent, with a daytime, Monday–Friday schedule. The salary starts at £13.50 per hour and rises to £14.00 after probation, with 23 days’ annual leave plus holidays

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in electrical assembly or soldering.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering or production drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Able to manage your own workload and work to deadlines.
• A reliable team player with a positive attitude.
• Flexible to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test lighting and electrical panels.
• Wire electrical components and install LEDs.
• Work from engineering drawings and specs.
• Perform visual inspections for quality and accuracy.
• Ensure correct component placement and safe power routing.
• Collaborate with production team to maintain standards.
• Maintain high quality throughout production.
