Job summary

Metalis Recruitment Group is seeking an Electrical Assembly Operative in Middleton, Manchester. You will assemble and test electrical panels, wire components, and install LEDs, following engineering drawings and specifications. The role emphasizes quality, accuracy, and working with an experienced production team.

The position is permanent, with a daytime, Monday–Friday schedule. The salary starts at £13.50 per hour and rises to £14.00 after probation, with 23 days’ annual leave plus holidays

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in electrical assembly or soldering.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering or production drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Able to manage your own workload and work to deadlines.
• A reliable team player with a positive attitude.
• Flexible to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test lighting and electrical panels.

Metalis are recruiting for an Electrical Assembly Operative to join a well-established manufacturer based in Middleton. You'll be assembling and testing electrical panels used within a range of innovative products for well-known brands and blue-chip companies. • Assembly and testing of lighting and electrical panels
• Electrical wiring and LED installation
• Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Carrying out visual inspections to ensure quality and accuracy

• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality throughout production
