Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Electrical Package Manager to lead delivery and coordination of electrical building services on major UK data centre projects from Blyth, England. The role is full-time and site-based.

You will manage installation sequencing, coordinate subcontractors and documentation, review safety and quality records, and provide strong client liaison throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• 5+ years’ experience in electrical package management within construction.
• Strong electrical building services installation experience.
• Data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or mission-critical experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical installation activities across the assigned package.
• Coordinate containment, cabling, power systems and associated electrical services.
• Manage electrical subcontractors, suppliers and vendors.
• Coordinate installation sequencing with the wider project team.
• Manage four-week look-ahead programmes and project milestones.
• Review method statements, risk assessments and technical documentation.
• Manage RFIs, technical submittals and quality documentation.
• Support variations, valuations and final accounts.
• Maintain O&M, testing, commissioning and BCAR documentation.
• Monitor as-built information and ensure accurate project records.
• Support testing, commissioning and final handover.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and project stakeholders.

A leading European data centre delivery contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Package Manager to manage the delivery and coordination of electrical building services packages on major UK data centre projects.
