Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Gillingham is seeking an experienced Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a part-time basis. The role focuses on keeping machinery, systems and facilities safe, reliable and operational.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical equipment, diagnose faults, keep accurate records, and work with the team to minimise downtime. Flexibility around the 6:00am–2:00pm shift is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as an electrical/mechanical maintenance engineer.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Proactive maintenance and safety focus.
• Good communication and organisation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Maintain machinery, equipment and site services.
• Identify potential problems and carry out preventative repairs.
• Ensure maintenance work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
• Work closely with the wider team to minimise equipment downtime.
• Follow all relevant health & safety procedures.
