Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an Electrically biased Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer based in Sheffield to oversee maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of facilities and equipment. The role focuses on safe, efficient operation, minimising downtime and upholding high standards.

You will develop preventive and corrective maintenance plans, troubleshoot a range of systems, manage inventories and budgets, and collaborate with production and engineering teams to support operational goals

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Knowledge of 17th or 18th edition wiring regulations.
• Experience in preventive and reactive maintenance approaches.
• Ability to review and develop SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts and equipment; procurement as needed.
• Monitor KPIs like MTTR and MTBF to improve uptime.
• Collaborate with production, safety and engineering teams.
• Manage maintenance budgets and prepare reports.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce costs.
• Oversee facilities maintenance including HVAC, lighting, plumbing.
