Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Multi-Skilled Electrical & Mechanical Engineer to support the installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of industrial effluent and wastewater treatment systems across customer sites in the UK. This role requires UK-wide travel and a 40-hour week.

You will work with electrical and mechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, and control gear, reading drawings and diagrams, and ensuring safety and quality standards on site.

Qualifications

• Must have a recognised electrical/mechanical qualification.
• Experience in industrial effluent or wastewater treatment environments.
• Able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain industrial effluent treatment equipment across UK sites.
• Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance; fault finding on electrical, mechanical and process systems.
• Read and interpret drawings and documentation to support installation activities.
• Ensure work complies with health, safety, environmental and quality standards and maintain records.
