Hewett Recruitment is seeking an Assembly Operative for a Pershore-based role within an engineering and manufacturing environment.

You will perform final assembly of electrical/electronic systems, wiring panels, and light mechanical work, following drawings and quality standards. The position offers full-time hours, with a varied workload and hands-on tasks. This temporary ongoing assignment requires good attention to detail, ability to work to schedules, and a practical, self-motivated approach.

Qualifications

• Hands-on assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow instructions.
• Attention to detail in electrical/electronic assembly.

Responsabilités

• Final assembly of electrical and electronic systems.
• Electrical panel wiring.
• Cable loom assembly.
• Cable wiring, crimping and hand soldering.
• Light mechanical assembly and fabrication.
• Basic machining such as drilling cases and cutting holes in panels.
• Following wiring diagrams and assembly instructions.
• Carrying out electrical testing per schedules.
• Working across high-volume and detailed project work.
• General workshop duties.
