Job summary

Interaction Recruitment in Harlow, Essex, is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Electrician to join a stable, established team. You will carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding and repairs across the site, ensuring equipment and systems operate safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with relevant electrical qualifications.
• Experience in an electrical maintenance role.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostics skills.
• Good understanding of electrical systems and industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on machinery and equipment.
• Carry out electrical testing, inspections and repairs.
• Fault-find using appropriate electrical test equipment.
• Maintain and repair electrical systems, machinery and site equipment.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimise production downtime.
• Assist with preventative maintenance programmes.
• Identify potential electrical issues and recommend improvements.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to the required standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Follow company health and safety procedures.
• Work alongside other members of the maintenance and engineering team.
• Assist with general engineering and maintenance duties where required.
