Randstad CPE is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician for our Shotton site. The role focuses on maintaining and improving electrical systems within the Panels and Profiles department, with an emphasis on fault finding on Siemens PLCs and process machinery.

The ideal candidate will be time-served in Electrical Engineering, hold an HNC, and bring extensive experience in heavy industry. The position is a permanent, day-shift role located near Shotton, with normal Mon-Fri working hours and a

Qualifications

• Time-served Electrical Engineer with manufacturing/heavy industry experience.
• HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with Siemens PLCs and fault finding in a heavy process environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve electrical systems within the Panels and Profiles department.
• Repair electrical and process machinery to maximise uptime.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and resolve breakdowns quickly and effectively.
• Lead and support preventative maintenance programmes to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Source resources and components with contractors and suppliers.
• Train production operators in electrical safety and maintenance best practices.
• Support continuous improvement within the department.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental policies.
