Job summary

Neg Earth Lights Ltd is seeking an experienced electrical/electronic technician to maintain and service lighting equipment for clients. You will join a professional operations team, following set guidelines, and collaborating with skilled technicians to meet agreed timescales.

You will work on repairs, testing, fault finding, and stock management, with training provided for intercom systems. A can-do attitude and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Practical electrical/electronic experience.
• Soldering and wiring proven ability.
• Knowledge of 3-phase power and distribution.
• Electrical safety knowledge and awareness.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to work overtime including weekends when required.
• Basic computer and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair cable, soldered, crimped and screw fixings.
• Service and maintenance of dimmers, distros, controls, transformers, lighting gear.
• Test, repair, fault find and factory manufacture cable assemblies.
• Ensure equipment moves per stock management processes.
• Prepare and maintain intercom systems (training available).
• Stock barcoding and maintaining stock levels with management.
• Assist with power distribution, motor control, cabling and bespoke projects.
• Maintain lighting equipment as required.
• Support other team members and ensure safe operation.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and company procedures.
