Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd in Horsham is seeking an experienced electrical maintenance technician to support commercial properties with planned and reactive electrical tasks. You will carry out EICRs, PAT testing, emergency lighting and fire alarm testing while diagnosing faults and completing repairs in compliance with current regulations.

You will also assist with UPS systems, generators and load testing, maintain accurate records, and uphold health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent) required.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations compliance.
• City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection (or equivalent).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• DBS clearance required.
• PASMA/IPAF and Legionella knowledge desirable.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance, including EICRs, PAT testing, emergency lighting and fire alarm testing.
• Diagnose faults, complete repairs, certification and testing in line with current regulations and standards.
• Assist with maintenance of UPS systems, generators and load testing.
• Maintain accurate records, ensure high-quality workmanship, and comply with all Health & Safety requirements.
• Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota and deliver excellent customer service.

Education

18th Edition Wiring Regulations

City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection (or equivalent)

Full UK Driving Licence

DBS clearance required

PASMA/IPAF and Legionella knowledge desirable
