Job summary

NHS Golden Jubilee University National Hospital is recruiting a Maintenance Technician (Electrical Bias) to maintain building services across the campus and to support hospital operations on a 24/7 basis.

The role requires a recognised apprenticeship and City and Guilds or equivalent qualification, with broad knowledge of electrical, mechanical and plumbing trades in a healthcare environment; good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a recognised apprenticeship and City and Guilds or equivalent qualification.
• Wide knowledge of electrical, mechanical and plumbing trades in healthcare environments.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building services for the Hospital, Hotel and associated areas.
• Provide technical support to other departments on a 24/7 basis.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary Estates team.
