Job summary

Rolls-Royce Bristol is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician for a full-time, shift-working role on site. You will perform electrical installations, maintenance and repairs on production equipment, working closely with skilled trades and engineers to meet manufacturing objectives.

The role requires an NVQ level 3 in Electrotechnical, a current BS7671 (18th Edition) certificate and experience with PLCs.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Electrotechnical time served apprenticeship.
• Current BS7671 Certificate (18th Edition).
• 2391 Test & Inspect Training.
• Able to read engineering drawings and electrical diagrams; understand electrical principles.
• Experience with PLCs (Siemens, GE, Schneider Electric, Honeywell).

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations, repairs and maintenance on production equipment.
• Collaborate with other trades to support the Production Leader and Manufacturing Services Engineer.
• Ensure safety and equipment availability to meet customer demand.

The Manufacturing Services Technician - Electrician is responsible for performing Electrical installations, repairs and maintenance, manufacturing assets and all associated production equipment. You will work alongside other skilled tradesmen to provide support to the Production Leader and Manufacturing Services Engineer to ensure the organisation’s objectives and goals are delivered.

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent in relevant Electrotechnical time served apprenticeship
• Current BS7671 Certificate (currently 18th Edition)
• 2391 Test & Inspect Training
• Able to work to engineering drawings, with a good understanding of Electrical Principles, Installation and Maintenance Operations
• Experience with PLC's (Siemens, General Electric (GE), Schneider Electric, Honeywell etc.)
