• £2,500 Welcome bonus
• Plymouth (PL6 Estover)
• Shifts: Sat & Sun rotating days and nights 6am – 6pm & 6pm – 6am + additional hours
• £41,000 - £51,000 (Base plus shift pay inclusive) + Company bonus 8%

The primary responsibility of the role is to maintain plant equipment and fix mechanical/electrical issues sitewide. A strong electrical bias with control/automation skills and an intermediate level of mechanical expertise are required.

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience in diagnosing and fixing automation and electrical issues
• An action-oriented, results-driven problem solver who works well with people and can prioritize workloads
• FMCG experience desirable
• Experience working with PLCs beneficial
• Higher National Certificate (HNC) in electrical/automation or multiskilled engineering discipline is desirable, supported by suitable experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform fault diagnosis and resolve failures on production machinery, including automation, electrical, and mechanical issues
• Report and record maintenance work in detail
• Drive reactive maintenance and continuous improvement
• Undertake preventative maintenance activities, equipment checks, and repairs
• Conduct training and coaching of operators, technicians, and apprentices
• Provide on-shift plant-wide support, including overtime coverage, for diagnosing and troubleshooting PLC/Servos and HMI system issues
