Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd are sourcing an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a heavy engineering environment in the West Midlands. You will take ownership of plant reliability, perform electrical maintenance and fault finding across two manufacturing sites.

The role blends hands-on fault finding with project work, reading diagrams, ladder logic and PLC systems to drive reliability improvements. Overtime and progression opportunities are on offer.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained with electrical qualifications including 17th Edition/BS7671.
• Strong fault finding on industrial electrical systems and control circuits.
• Experience reading ladder logic and PLC diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Electrical maintenance, fault finding and installation across two plants.
• Diagnose faults on AC/DC systems and 3-phase power supplies.
• Read electrical drawings and interpret ladder logic/PLC systems.
• Support reliability projects to improve OEE and reduce downtime.
• Core hours 05:00-17:00, Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week.
