Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd in the West Midlands is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Electrical Project Engineer to own plant reliability across two manufacturing plants. You will fault-find on 3‑phase supplies and AC/DC systems, read drawings and ladder logic, and drive reliability improvements.

The role combines hands-on electrical work with project activity, offering opportunities for progression, autonomy and impact in a heavy engineering environment.

Qualifications

Apprentice trained with relevant electrical qualifications (including 17th Edition / BS7671).
Strong fault finding on industrial electrical systems (control circuits, 3 phase, AC/DC).
IPAF / MEWP licence beneficial, along with experience reading ladder logic / PLCs.

Responsibilities

Electrical maintenance, fault finding and installation work across two manufacturing plants.
Diagnose faults on AC/DC systems, 3 phase power supplies and electrical control circuits.
Read electrical drawings, circuit diagrams and interpret ladder logic / PLC systems.
Support reliability projects to improve OEE, reduce downtime and optimise plant performance.
