Job summary

Breedon Group plc is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Planner in Hope Valley, Derbyshire. You will coordinate electrical maintenance, develop long-term plans, and ensure resources and spares are ready for safe, efficient work. Work with maintenance, operations and stores to meet schedules and budgets.

You will lead major repairs planning, oversee shutdowns and manage weak points in the maintenance lifecycle, while championing safety and reliability improvements across the site.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with CMMS and electrical maintenance planning.
• Experience planning major repairs, shutdowns and maintenance projects.
• Knowledge of contractor management and health and safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with health, safety and environmental standards.
• Plan and schedule preventative, predictive and corrective electrical maintenance.
• Lead maintenance planning for major repairs, plant shutdowns and power outages.
• Support Low/High voltage permits during major repairs.
• Manage critical spare parts and asset management strategies.
• Create and maintain maintenance job plans and Bills of Materials.
• Support reliability through proactive maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to planning and delivery of electrical CAPEX projects.
• Support maintenance budget planning and cost control.
• Manage external maintenance service agreements.
• Collaborate with teams to prioritise and schedule activities.
