Electrical Maintenance Operative

Location: London
Type: Temporary – 3 Month Contract
Shifts: 12-hour shifts, 4 on / 4 off (days & nights)
Pay: £18.88 – £21.68 per hour (DOE)

We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Operative to support a busy estates team in London on a short-term contract. The role includes planned and reactive maintenance across a range of building systems and plant.

Key Duties:

• Electrical repairs and maintenance of building services and systems
• Fault finding, testing and installation work
• Working with BMS and electrical control systems
• Completing safety checks, permits, and statutory documentation
• Liaising with internal teams, customers, and external contractors
• Supporting across multiple sites and disciplines when required

Requirements:

• Strong experience in commercial electrical maintenance
• Competent in LV systems, BMS, and safe working practices
• Flexible to work days, nights and weekends on shift rotation
• Excellent communication and fault-finding skills
