Job summary

Atlas Workplace Services is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our on-site engineering team at Brindley Place, Birmingham. The role focuses on delivering planned preventative and reactive maintenance on a static site within a prestigious commercial property.

You will work closely with a multi-skilled engineering team, ensuring safety, efficiency and compliance while building strong client relationships and delivering excellent service standards.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications.
• BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• 2391 Test and Inspect Electrical Qualification or equivalent (Desirable).
• Full Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities in line with contractual requirements and SLAs.
• Undertake minor works and repairs across electrical and building services systems.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and colleagues.
• Maintain clear communication with the site team and client representatives.
• Support delivery of a first-class facilities maintenance service with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Prepare labour/material/resource estimates for minor works quotations.
• Liaise with Lead Engineers and subcontractors to complete works on time and to standard.
• Accurately update the Maximo CAFM system and record all activities.
• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and colleagues on site.
• Take ownership of work quality and continually improve service delivery.
• Participate in the site's out-of-hours call-out rota when required.
