Job summary

TXM Recruit is partnering with a prominent automation and intralogistics company in Bradford to hire skilled Maintenance Engineers for our automated distribution facility. The role involves maintaining state-of-the-art machinery, performing disassembly/reassembly, calibration, and system testing, with a strong emphasis on health and safety.

Shifts include Morning and Night, with a Panama schedule rotating between days and nights.

Qualifications

• NVQ/BTEC/C&G Level 3 in Electro-Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods and technologies.
• Knowledge of PLC systems and their functionality.
• Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics is an advantage.
• Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using CMMS systems and managing engineering inventory.
• A qualification equivalent to HNC/HND is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical disassembly and reassembly tasks, basic field wiring, equipment calibration, and system testing.
• Manage time using CMMS to achieve high utilization.
• Complete reactive repairs within set timeframes to minimize downtime.
• Conduct servicing and repairs of installed products with hands-on ownership.
• Interpret electrical schematics and work with 415V motor controls.
• Prioritize health and safety by conducting risk assessments.
• Read and follow assembly drawings with precision.
• Follow setup instructions, assembly guides and checklists.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and follow-up capabilities.
• Understand and work with control systems.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.
