Job summary

Skilled Careers are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a static site in Sheffield, performing planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and recording all activities, while ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.

You will carry out building inspections and emergency lighting tasks, with 8am–4pm hours, on-site parking, tools provided, and overtime available; excellent rates are offered for a qualified electrician with maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical apprenticeship or Level 3 electrical qualification.
• 18th Edition.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with preventative maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance documentation and ensure work is accurately recorded.
• Ensure all activities comply with health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects across the site.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance across plant and equipment.
• Conduct building inspections and emergency lighting tasks.
