Job summary
MTrec Ltd Technical is seeking an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to strengthen the team for the Northeast production facilities. The role is day shift, with flexibility to support business needs as required.
You will report to Site Management and plan maintenance tasks, interpret electrical drawings and fault find on automation systems across modern machinery. A strong background in AC/DC drives, PLCs, and safe electrical practices is essential for success.
Qualifications
- Must have engineering apprenticeship or equivalent.
- Experience with maintenance in manufacturing.
- Able to fault find on automation systems and hydraulics/pneumatics.
- Knowledge of electrical safety and compliance is essential.
Responsibilities
- Plan and distribute tasks to ensure maintenance targets are met.
- Work safely following permit systems and risk assessments.
- Fault find and diagnose technical/process issues.
- Coordinate with production supervision for smooth plant operation.
- Resolve breakdowns with minimal impact to production.
- Identify opportunities for improvements in processes and equipment.
