Job summary

Tiro Associates Ltd. in Corby, Northamptonshire, is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to keep production equipment at peak performance. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and support continuous improvement while adhering to food manufacturing safety standards.

The role demands electrical or mechanical bias, with PLC/HMI/SCADA experience and CMMS record-keeping. A strong problem-solving mindset and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained Multiskilled Engineer with electrical or mechanical bias.
• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Engineering are required.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults on production equipment.
• Supporting production teams to maximise equipment performance.
• Fault finding on PLC-controlled machinery, HMIs and automated systems.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records using a CMMS.
• Identifying opportunities to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Working safely and ensuring all maintenance activities meet food manufacturing and health & safety standards.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering function.
