Job summary

Hunter Selection Ltd is partnering with a Devon-based manufacturer to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a Panama shift (days & nights rotating). The role involves preventative maintenance, breakdown response, fault diagnosis and repairs to minimise downtime across all manufacturing equipment.

The successful candidate will bring multiskilled expertise (mechanical and electrical), a proactive approach to maintenance, and qualifications such as City & Guilds 236 and 18th Edition

Qualifications

• Engineering experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Multiskilled background (mechanical and electrical) preferred; electrical-bias engineers with a desire to upskill also welcome.
• Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns across all manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose faults, complete repairs and work to minimise downtime.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying issues and contributing to long-term engineering solutions.
• Work collaboratively with the wider engineering and production teams to maintain high operational standards.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures and compliance requirements.
