Hudson Shribman is seeking a multi-skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer for our manufacturing operations. The role focuses on maintenance of industrial equipment across two North West sites, with a primary site in the North West.

On-site day shifts 6:00-14:00 or 8:00-16:00, and the salary is up to £50k plus benefits. You will perform PPM and reactive maintenance, diagnose electrical faults, support installation and upgrades, and drive continuous improvement to maximise plant reliability and

Qualifications

• HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Previous experience within a manufacturing or industrial production environment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills on production machinery.
• Knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives/inverters, pumps, sensors and encoders.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and carry out circuit modifications.
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive, team-focused approach.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on a variety of industrial machinery.
• Support the installation, commissioning, and integration of new equipment and production lines.
• Work alongside the projects team on machinery upgrades, site improvements, and engineering initiatives.
• Minimise downtime through effective fault finding and root cause analysis.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and operations teams.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health & safety legislation and engineering best practice.
