Ernest-Gordon-Recruitment-Limited are working with a major snack and confectionary manufacturer recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for Livingston, Scotland. The role is Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm with optional overtime.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on factory machinery, troubleshoot electrical faults using schematics and PLCs, and contribute to improving downtime through PPM scheduling.

Qualifications

• Maintenance engineer with electrical maintenance experience.
• Willing to commute to a factory in Livingston.
• Electrical bias with manufacturing focus.

Are you a Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias looking to join a UK and European snack and confectionary manufacturer offering a Monday-Friday, days-based role, optional overtime to increase your earnings, and excellent opportunities for long-term training and career progression?

This major manufacturer of Corn/Maize & Potato Snacks distribute throughout the UK and Europe in the multiples and small to medium sized retailers. Taking great pride in ensuring only the best quality for products, they have seen continued growth since their establishment 30 years ago and are looking to expand their team of Engineer

In this role you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance of the factory’s machinery. You will complete PPM’s to reduce downtime, trouble shoot electrical faults using schematics and PLC’s and be responsible for some mechanical repairs on automated machinery, conveyors and more.

This role would suit an Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance engineer looking to join an established confectionary manufacturer offering a great work life balance.

The Role:

• Service, diagnose and repair factory machinery such as automated and conveyor machinery
• Trouble shooting electrical faults using schematics and PLC’s
• Welding and mechanical repairs
• Monday – Friday (8am – 17am)

The Person:

• Maintenance engineer with electrical maintenance experience
• Willing to commute to factory in Livingston
