Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) to join a manufacturing team in Perth, Scotland. You will inspect, service and repair motors, drives, sensors and control panels, with tailored training and progression to team leader.

The role is Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm with optional overtime and weekend work on a 1 in 3 cycle, paid at overtime rate. Salary £45,000-£47,000 with OTE £53k and company benefits.

Qualifications

• Electrical background in maintenance within a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to fault find and service motors, drives, sensors and control panels.
• Willingness to undertake training on mechanical repairs and progression to team leader.

Responsibilities

• Maintain automated machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Fault-find, repair and service sensors, motors, drives and control panels.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns promptly.
• Work Monday to Friday, 7:00am–4:30pm with optional overtime.

Are you a Maintenance Engineer from an electrical background looking for tailored training on mechanical repairs for sensors, motors and control panels with progression opportunities to team leader within a year?

In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, and repairing of motors, drivers, sensors and control panels as well as carrying out planned preventative maintenance, and responding efficiently to breakdowns.

The Role:

• Training on special purpose machinery and mechanical repairs

• Working 1 in 3 weekends, paid at overtime rate
