Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Wednesbury for a market‑leading food manufacturer. The role offers £45,000‑£50,000 plus training and progression.

You will perform reactive and preventative maintenance on a variety of machinery, including electrical wiring, PLC fault finding, switch gear and 3‑phase motors, with paid training to broaden your mechanical skills.

The shift is Monday to Friday, 2pm–10pm, in a supportive team that values development.

Qualifications

• Electrical bias required for maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
• Experience with PLC fault finding and electrical systems.
• Willingness to training to become a multi-skilled engineer.

Are you an Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a varied and exciting job with a stable, well-established company offering a competitive package?

Are you looking to become a fully qualified Multi-Skilled Engineer by having the opportunity to train on Mechanical?

You will join a great team of Maintenance Engineers carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on a wide range of machinery and equipment including electrical wiring, PLC fault finding, switch gear and 3 phase motors. You will gain specialist training and development where required, including the opportunity to become a fully qualified Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer by training on Mechanical.

This role would suit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer who is looking for a varied and rewarding opportunity with a company offering plenty of training and routes to progress.
