Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a large industrial site in Abergavenny. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on 3-phase machinery, with a focus on PLC fault finding, drives, sensors and associated electrical systems.

Working on double-days on a rotating schedule (5:30am–2pm and 1:30am–10pm), you can significantly increase earnings through overtime. A market-leading employer offers a competitive package including overtime, a company bonus

Formación

• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer with electrical background.
• Ability to perform planned and reactive maintenance and fault finding on electrical systems.

Are you a Maintenance Engineer with electrical experience looking to join a renowned and highly profitable company, working on a broad range of state-of-the-art and cutting-edge machinery?

Are you looking to work double-days within a large industrial site, where you can drastically increase your earnings through overtime?

In this double-days based role you will be performing a split of planned and reactive maintenance in a busy industrial environment, working on 3-phase machinery, lasers, PLC controls, hydraulics, drives and related equipment.

Founded nearly 70 years ago, this materials processing company are one of the largest in the UK within their sector, boasting a turnover of £120 million. With a recent investment of £40 million into new machinery, they aim to continue growing on their 40-acre site for years to come.

This role would suit a Maintenance Engineer looking for a double-days role within a large industrial site, with new challenges every day and plenty of variety of work.

The Role:

• Planned and reactive maintenance on machinery
• Working on 3-phase motors, drives, sensors, and PLC fault finding
• Further training given through specific courses if needed
• Monday to Friday, 5:30am – 2pm, then 1:30am – 10pm, rotating weekly
• Overtime paid at 1.5x, Sunday 2x
