Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias for a busy food manufacturing site in Leeds on an initial 6-month contract. The role is days-based on a rotating 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm schedule, requiring strong electrical fault-finding skills and the ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

You will perform reactive and preventive maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement with emphasis on safe operation

Qualifications

Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Able to work independently and respond effectively to breakdowns.

Responsibilities

Electrical fault finding and repair on production machinery.
Carry out reactive and planned maintenance across the site.
Diagnose faults on motors, drives, sensors, control circuits and automated equipment.
Mechanical fault finding and repairs when required.
Work on pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Support production during breakdowns and minimise equipment downtime.
Carry out PPMs and equipment inspections.
Support engineering improvements and machinery modifications.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Work safely in line with site health & safety and food manufacturing standards.
