Job summary

Carbon60, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our maintenance team supporting an educational environment. The role focuses on delivering planned and reactive building services maintenance with a customer-focused approach.

You will perform PPM tasks, fault-finding, compliance testing, and non-electrical duties as needed, while contributing to safety, compliance, and effective communication with stakeholders. Safeguarding responsibilities apply to this educational setting.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance experience in building services
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive attitude to maintenance and safety compliance

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks and document findings.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests and critical system callouts.
• Undertake electrical fault-finding, repairs, installations and breakdown maintenance.
• Complete compliance testing and minor electrical works per standards and procedures.
• Ensure all works meet service levels and timescales.
• Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota as required.
• Undertake minor mechanical repairs and general building maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance records and liaise with site management.
