Qualifications

• BS7671 18th Edition Electrical Qualification required.
• Experience as Electrical Maintenance Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of statutory compliance and maintenance requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong customer service focus and proactive maintenance approach.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices.
• Experience working in a facilities/educational environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and document results.
• Respond to reactive maintenance and critical system callouts.
• Fault-finding, repairs, installations, and breakdown maintenance.
• Complete compliance testing and minor electrical works per standards.
• Ensure works meet timescales and service level requirements.
• Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota when required.
• Undertake minor mechanical repairs and AHU maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance records and compliance documentation.
• Liaise with site management to ensure smooth service delivery.
