Job summary

Stirling Warrington in Barnsley is looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our busy manufacturing site. You will maintain and repair production machinery, drive reliability and support downtime reduction.

The role requires an NVQ Level 3/City & Guilds Level 3, at least 4 years of industrial maintenance experience, and hands-on CMMS, pneumatics and hydraulics knowledge. Monday–Friday days shift, with development opportunities.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 4 years' industrial maintenance experience.
Experience in manufacturing/production environments.
Strong electrical maintenance and fault-finding skills.
Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
Experience using CMMS / Computerised Maintenance Management System.

Responsibilities

Carry out electrical maintenance and repairs on production machinery, plant and equipment.
Complete planned preventive maintenance (PPM) to minimise breakdowns and downtime.
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults quickly and effectively.
Fault find on mechanical systems including gearboxes and related equipment.
Work with pneumatics and hydraulics systems and circuits.
Liaise with on-site contractors and remote service engineers.
Use CMMS to record maintenance activities, breakdowns and completed work.
