Job summary

You will perform planned preventative maintenance, fault finding on electrical systems, and support mechanical maintenance within a multi-skilled engineering team. A proactive problem-solving approach and experience with industrial machinery are essential.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification at NVQ3 or equivalent.
• Proven experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good mechanical maintenance knowledge and breakdown handling.
• Experience with industrial machinery and automated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Carry out electrical fault finding, diagnostics and repairs across site equipment.
• Support mechanical maintenance and breakdowns as part of a multi-skilled team.
• Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance to high standards.
• Identify recurring faults and contribute to root cause analysis and improvements.
• Work safely following procedures and relevant legislation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS.
• Collaborate with Production and Engineering to improve reliability.
• Support equipment upgrades and engineering improvement projects.
