Job summary

GM Recruitment in London is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to cover PPM, reactive repairs and fault finding across electrical and mechanical building systems in a commercial environment.

The role requires 3+ years in building services, City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation, and a strong fault-finding capability. On-site, long-term contract with a competitive rate and professional facilities maintenance exposure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in building services or facilities maintenance.
• City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations preferred.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks independently.
• Diagnose, fault-find and repair electrical and mechanical building services systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems, including AHUs.
• Test, repair and maintain lighting systems and fire alarm systems.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and site procedures.
