Job summary

RG Setsquare is recruiting an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the facilities team on a prestigious static site in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a professional facilities management environment, maintaining a wide range of building services.

Key responsibilities include planned and reactive maintenance on electrical building services, fault-finding on lighting, power, emergency lighting and control systems, plus liaising with the client to ensure

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or Electrical Engineering.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential).
• Experience in commercial building or facilities maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance procedures.
• Good understanding of health and safety legislation.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical building services.
• Maintain and fault-find on lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, and control systems.
• Inspect, test, diagnose, and repair electrical equipment and installations.
• Support maintenance of HVAC plant, pumps, motors, BMS controls, and other mechanical plant where required.
• Complete statutory compliance checks and ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations.
• Accurately complete maintenance records using a CAFM system.
• Liaise professionally with the client and other members of the engineering team to ensure excellent service delivery.
