Job summary

ATA Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a leading food manufacturer in Gainsborough. The role covers reactive and planned maintenance, with electrical and mechanical fault-finding, and workshop organisation for a smaller site with expansion plans.

The successful candidate will typically hold a Level 3 Electrical qualification and have experience in an engineering environment, able to fault-find electrical systems, read schematics, and interpret HMI screens.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Electrical qualification and experience in an engineering environment.
• Comfortably fault-find on electrical systems and work well in a team.
• Ability to read schematics and interpret HMI screens.

Responsibilities

• Perform reactive and planned maintenance to ensure smooth factory operation.
• Fault-find on electrical and mechanical components with no programming required.
• Take ownership of workshop and manage tools and stock.
• Collaborate across the site to support engineering activities.
