Job summary

Workchain Ltd. is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a permanent role in Nottingham. The position requires proven experience in electrical repairs and servicing within a manufacturing or production environment.

You will be responsible for fault finding, routine maintenance, and coordinating with shift leaders to keep plant operations running smoothly. The role offers a starting salary of £48,000 per annum plus benefits and a 4-on 4-off shift pattern.

Qualifications

Candidates will hold a City & Guilds or MVQ / BTEC in Electrical Maintenance / Installation
Hours of work are a 4 days on, 4 days off, 6.00am to 6.00pm.
Starting salary is £48,000pa, with excellent company benefits.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
Work closely with department managers and contractors to resolve issues efficiently.
Maintain tools, supplies and accurate service records.
Liaise with the Shift Team Leader to ensure efficient running of the factory and processes.
Understand factory operations including steam raising plant, odour control and effluent treatment.
Monitor all electrical equipment to ensure efficient operation.
Carry out breakdown repairs to factory equipment in a timely manner.
Provide assistance to other shift members as necessary.
Site electrical installations and upgrade work as designated by the Electrical Team Leader.
Carry out routine electrical or mechanical maintenance according to planned schedules.
Be on call for a proportion of the time.
