Job summary

Orbital Recruitment Limited is recruiting two Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineers for a Chesterfield site. The role involves maintaining plant/equipment, tackling breakdowns, and delivering both electrical and mechanical project work on a rolling 3–6 month contract.

You will join a maintenance team with a focus on safety and reliability, with early starts on a rotating shift pattern and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
• Experience in heavy engineering environments is advantageous.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible and safety-conscious attitude.
• Reliable and able to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Respond to plant and equipment breakdowns.
• Perform planned and reactive maintenance.
• Carry out electrical and mechanical project work.
• Assist with equipment installations and fault repairs.
• Work closely with a maintenance team and uphold health and safety standards.
