Job summary

Orbital Recruitment Limited is recruiting two Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineers for a Chesterfield site. The role involves maintaining plant/equipment, tackling breakdowns, and delivering both electrical and mechanical project work on a rolling 3–6 month contract.

You will join a maintenance team with a focus on safety and reliability, with early starts on a rotating shift pattern and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
• Experience in heavy engineering environments is advantageous.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Electrical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer - Chesterfield

£30 - £35 per hour (depending on experience) | 3-6 month rolling contract | 42.5 Hours Per Week

We are currently recruiting for 2 Electrical Engineers to join a leading manufacturing business based in Chesterfield.

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating 3-shift pattern
• 6:00am - 2:30pm
• 2:00pm - 10:30pm
• 10:00pm - 6:30am

The Role:

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining plant and equipment across the site.

Duties include:

• Responding to plant and equipment breakdowns
• Planned and reactive maintenance
• Electrical and mechanical project work
• Equipment installations
• Fault finding and repairs
• Working closely within a maintenance engineering team
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety

Requirements:
