Job summary

Talentmark are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer on behalf of a fantastic business based in Cramlington on a permanent basis. The role operates a 12-hour continental shift pattern (days and nights) with every other weekend off, offering a challenging environment and a strong benefits package.

The successful candidate will maintain production equipment, calibrate instruments, and keep CMMS records while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and company

Qualifications

• HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in fault finding and PLC troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
• ATEX knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance of production equipment and assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Perform calibrations and corrections on equipment such as load cells and temperature controllers.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs, using a CMMS system.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies, including permits to work, pre-work risk assessments and method statements, LOTO, ATEX.
