Peterborough £46,000 to £50,000 + Benefits

Day Shift: 6am - 6pm

Night Shift: 6pm - 6am

Shift patterns are a mixture of 2s and 3s, including days and nights.

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will work with a close-knit team to maintain site machinery, resolve faults, and support continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of machinery.
2. Troubleshooting and repairing faults promptly to minimise downtime.
3. Keeping accurate records of maintenance tasks using the site’s tracking system.
4. Assisting with installation and commissioning of new machinery and upgrades.
5. Collaborating with production staff to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Candidate Requirements:

1. A strong background in electrical maintenance with some mechanical knowledge.
2. Proven ability to fault-find under pressure in a manufacturing environment.
3. Familiarity with reading wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
4. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
5. Ideally qualified to a relevant engineering level with a full right to work in the UK.
